A strong case for Swedish Greentech in Pakistan

To test the Pakistani energy market’s appetite and willingness to use Swedish green technologies, Chamber Trade Sweden (CTS) and the Swedish Embassy in Pakistan organised a series of seminars in Pakistan earlier this year to promote Swedish green technologies, products and expertise. The seminars attracted a large number of public and private sector organisations and businessmen.

The Swedish delegation was led by the Swedish Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr Lars-Hjalmar Wide. Participants showed keen interest in acquiring Swedish technologies, especially renewable energy solutions.

“There is certainly a strong case for Swedish Greentech in Pakistan. Public and private sector businesses are eager to use Swedish green technologies to meet their energy and clean production requirements. We have received many requests for information on how they could work with Swedish companies to buy Greentech products and services, and set up renewable energy joint ventures,” says Swedish Ambassador to Pakistan Lars-Hjalmar Wide.
