The chambers in Sweden became part of the IWEC network in 2011 and since then the following have become IWEC awardees: Maud Spencer, Svalson and Pernilla Stålhane, Pallmax, in Barcelona 2012; Signhild Arnegård Hansen, Svenska Lantchips, and Ida Backlund, Rapunzel, in Lima 2013; Karin Bodin, Polarbröd, Karin Söderlind, House of Dagmar, and Emy Blixt, Swedish Hasbeens, in Stockholm 2014.

Chamber Trade Sweden was the proud host of IWEC 2014 in Stockholm with more than 100 internationally competitive business women participating from all continents. IWEC is a prestigious mentorship program encouraging women business leaders to grow their international businesses. The goal of IWEC is to develop a global business network for successful women business owners, helping them gain and expand access to international markets.
