IWEC 2014 was held in Stockholm

Chamber Trade Sweden was the proud host of IWEC 2014 – International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge  in Stockholm, the 8^th IWEC Conference.

IWEC is a prestigious mentorship program encouraging women business leaders to grow their international businesses. The goal of IWEC is to develop a global business network for successful women business owners, helping them gain and expand access to international markets.

IWEC sets out to establish channels for collaboration and the exchange of knowledge and business practices between women entrepreneurs from East to West, from South to North, across the globe. Its ultimate goal is to create business opportunities.

IWEC presents a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and connectivity among women business owners worldwide setting the stage for new business opportunities and joint ventures, and promoting social dialog among women entrepreneurs and business leaders. Chambers of Commerce platform their female entrepreneurs by sending a maximum of three candidates to the annual conference and awards ceremony, this year to Stockholm.
